Longji Terraced Field

Day 1 Shanghai to Guilin (L)
Pick you up from your hotel, transfer to the airport and fly to Guilin.
Upon your arrival, be greeted by Guilin local tour guide, transfer to the hotel and have a lunch. Drive to the Elephant Trunk Hill to start the tour in Guilin. The hill has 316 million years history and is Guilin city’s best known sight. Like elephant leisurely sucking water from the river with its long trunk, it got the name. Then visit the Reed Flute Cave. Various stalactites, stalagmites, stone pillars and other rock formations display a myriad of fanciful shapes, such as birds, flowers, curtains, and animals. Under the artificial lighting, you feel in a paradise where the Gods live.

Day 2 Guilin to Yangshuo (B, L)
Enjoy a Li River Cruise. Li River scenic area is world reputed for its unique natural sceneries with the most beautiful karst mountains, clear water and a taste of life far removed from the concrete metropolis. Arrive at Yangshuo county, famous for the beautiful idyllic scenery. Take a biking tour around, visiting the two premier Yangshuo attractions-Moon Mountain,named for the lunar-shaped cavity in the center, and Big Banyan Tree, more than 1,000 years old,17 meters high, with a green umbrella-like round tree crown.

Day 3 Yangshuo to Longsheng to Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, drive to another typical county of Guilin-Longsheng, known for its minority culture. Visit Zhuang and Yao Ethnic Tribes and Longji Terraced Field there.The different minority customs and local people’s dressing style are specially delicate and beautiful. The terrace is a rice field built on the hillsides, looking like great chains or ribbons as they wind from the foot to the top of the hill.
Leave for the airport and fly back to Shanghai. Upon arrival, Shanghai airport to your hotel transfer.

Day 1 Shanghai to Guilin (L)
Be picked up at your hotel lobby and transferred to the airport; catch the 2-hour flight to Guilin. Meet our Guilin local tour guide at the airport arrival hall, and then drive to hotel for checkin.
Your Guilin tour starts with one of the symbol of Guilin-the Reed Flute Cave, which presents various unique shapes by the Karst formations of stone columns, stalactites and stalagmites. After lunch, drive to Jiangtou Village which is reputed as one of seven the most valuable ancient villages in China with well-preserved houses built in Ming and Qing Dynasties.

Day 2 Guilin to Longsheng to Guilin (B, L)
Today we will travel to the Longsheng county (2hrs’ drive) and visit its terraced field and minority village. Longji Terraced Flield look like ribbons and stretch layer upon layer from the foot of the mountain to the top. In the Zhuang and Yao Ethnic tribes, you will experience the unique Chinese minority culture.
Drive back to Guilin after the tour.

Day 3 Guilin to Yangshuo (B, L)
Today enjoy a Li River Cruise down to Yangshuo county, which is the highlight of any travel in Guilin. The beautiful scenery comes all along the way with karst mountains, crystal waters, verdant bamboo forests, narrow bamboo rafts on sail and peaceful local villages. In Yangshuo, you will take a bicycle trip to appreciate the local countryside scenery. A local family’s visit will give you an insight into the farmer’s lifestyle. Free time the rest of day to explore the charming county by yourself. You could have a stoll on the famed West Street full of characteristic souvenir stores, cafe, restaurants and bars.

Day 4 Yangshuo to Guilin to Shanghai
Drive back to Guilin airport to fly back to Shanghai. Shanghai airport to your hotel transfer upon arrival.
